ARTrageous is Whistler’s original arts party, and a one-night stand for artists, art lovers and art class renegades. This sold-out event is an eclectic fusion of locally-made creations, costume, interactive art stations, photo studio experiments, funk music, dance and wine. This year, local artists will showcase their best in The S2S Masterpiece exhibit. As part of Cornucopia, the 14th annual ARTrageous will satisfy your creative appetite.

International Guitar Night

Brian Gore founded International Guitar Night (IGN) in 1995 as a forum for the world’s finest guitarists/composers to play their latest originals and share musical ideas with their peers in public concert. It has evolved into critically acclaimed tours in the US, Canada and UK. The 2009 Canadian Tour welcomes Germany’s Lulo Reinhardt mixing his family’s trademark Gypsy jazz with forays into Latin music; Israel’s Itamar Erez whose symphonic compositions echo his Middle Eastern roots, & renowned harp guitarist Stephen Bennett.

Featuring over 100 artisans from the Sea-to-Sky Corridor, Lower Mainland and beyond, the 21st annual holiday craft fair will feature an array of ceramics, clothing, fine art, glass, metal, jewelry, candles and aromatherapy products as well as Christmas decorations. Attracting over 5,000 visitors, Bizarre Bazaar is a vibrant community event including live music, a silent auction and food.
