ARTrageous is Whistlers original art party. The Arts Council is currently accepting artists submissions to show their work at this 1 night event. Artwork can be anything from portraiture and landscape to pop art, contemporary, street art or even art installations and sculptures. Bizarre Bazaar - November 26 & 27, 2010

Whistler’s Original Artisan Market has built a reputation of presenting unique, quality, hand-made art and crafts for Whistler residents and visitors looking for one-of-a-kind treasures. Featuring over 100 artisans from the Sea to Sky Corridor, Lower Mainland and beyond, the 22nd annual holiday craft fair will feature a wide array of ceramics, clothing, fine art, wood, glass, metal, jewelry, leather, candles and aromatherapy products as well as Christmas decorations.

Whistler Art Workshops on the Lake Fundraiser
Deadline: Friday, September 3, 2010
WAC and its supporters is holding a fundraiser for the Whistler Art Workshops on the Lake program on Sept 12 at the Nita Lake Lodge.  The fundraiser will showcase the work of well-known professional Art Workshop instructors and emerging local artists, and give guests the opportunity to buy raffle tickets for $50, which will guarantee that they take home one of these original pieces of artwork. If you are an artist and would like to support the fundraiser by donating a painting, please stop by Millennium Place (4335 Blackcomb Way) or contact WAC to pick up an 8" x 8" canvas.

Poetry Competition for the Public Art Project "Poet's Pause"
Deadline: Thursday, August 19, 2010 at 3pm
The Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW) and the Public Art Committee invite submissions of unpublished, original poetry for display at a public art project developed at two sites in Alta Lake Park. The public art project is known as Poet's Pause.

Scotia Creek Gallery at MY Millennium Place
Ongoing

The Whistler Arts Council is accepting submissions from artists on an ongoing basis to exhibit their work in the Gallery space located up stairs in Millennium place. Artists can apply both for solo or group shows . Whistler's only public art space is located in the heart of Whistler Village.
