Weekend Crafters

Children will discover the amazing world of arts and crafts in these Saturday workshops with Layna from Orkidz. Get the creative juices flowing with activities such as making glove stuffies, tile mosaics, and Holiday Gifts.   Children will have fun learning new skills, and will take home art projects they can enjoy themselves or give as gifts.  Suitable for children ages 6 to 12 years.

Oct 5: Create Your Own Stuffy (goofy glove stuffed creatures)
Nov 9: Mosaic Madness (make a magical tile & glass mosaic)
Dec 7: Christmas Gifts (angels & tree ornaments)

 

INSTRUCTOR BIO

Layna’s “Aha!” moment happened in 2009 when she decided to combine her passion of kids, crafts and creativity.  And Voila! Orkidz Art Studio was born.  Layna loves it when children tell her how they made their art project - it’s all about the process, the journey and the feelings.  Her Mantra is to encourage, explore and ignite through creativity.
